Tips For Having A Blast While Visiting Las Vegas

Visiting Las Vegas is an experience everyone should have the chance to explore.  The city is unlike any other in the world, and there’s more fun to be had than should ever be had in one place.  There’s no limit to the things you can do during your visit to Las Vegas, Nevada.

You can gamble in some of the world’s most famous casinos.  You can ride a roller coaster in the middle of the “strip,” and get married to a random stranger in less than an hour.  There is an endless supply of questionable decisions to be made while visiting Vegas, and they’re waiting for you to arrive.

If you’re considering traveling to Las Vegas this summer, do some research before you go.  Here is a quick look at some helpful tips for having a blast while visiting Las Vegas.

It’s okay to take your booze to go

Vegas is a party city, so it’s one of those rare places in the U.S. where you can get your booze to go.  Walking the Strip with a bottle in your hand isn’t against the law, but don’t push your luck.

You don’t want to be arrested in Las Vegas, you want to have fun in Vegas.  The police in the city are adjusted to the party nature of the area, but you can still end up sitting in the drunk tank for getting to wild in a public space.

Make sure to bring cash

Don’t wait until you’re in Vegas to withdraw your gambling funds.  The ATM usage fees are outrageous, and the tally will add up quickly.  You’ll already be spending plenty of money living it up in the City of Lights.  Save yourself some funds, and bring cash to the party.

Drinks are free while you’re gambling

The coolest thing about the casinos isn’t always the gambling.  While you’re taking your chances with fate, your drinks are free.  However, that doesn’t mean you don’t have to pony up a tip for your server.

If you keep your server happy, your drinks will arrive in a more timely manner.  If you’re a cheapo, the server won’t hurry to bring your next drink. Money speaks the loudest in Sin City.

The city itself is a sight to see

Vegas is a great place to party and gamble, but it’s also a culturally rich city.  There is art everywhere. When you check in to your hotel, there will likely be art behind the desk.

Walking down the Strip, you’ll see various pieces of modern art displayed.  The Bellagio and The Cosmopolitan even have their own mini art galleries on the premises which feature touring collections from all around the world.
